H.O.T member Tony An is embarking on a new chapter in his career.
On November 3, newly established entertainment company B-Wave Entertainment announced, “We have recently signed an exclusive contract with Tony An. With our structured system and Tony An’s extensive experience and proven presence in the industry, we plan to discover and nurture new artists together.”
Debuting in 1996 as a member of H.O.T, Tony An rose to prominence as one of K-pop’s pioneers and a leading icon of Korean pop culture. Over the years, he has continued to win the love of fans through his consistent work across music and television.
Koo Bon Young, CEO of B-Wave, expressed high expectations for the partnership, saying, “Tony An is an artist who never stops challenging himself. Beyond simply joining the company, we aim to create a new era of music business together. His addition will bring fresh energy not only to B-Wave but to the entire industry.”
Tony An shared, “From my H.O.T days until now, music has always been at the center of my life. Based on my experience, I want to grow alongside B-Wave’s younger artists and contribute to creating a new K-pop legend on the global stage.”
Launched in June of this year, B-Wave Entertainment is a management agency specializing in the global K-pop market. The company has assembled top industry professionals, including renowned producer R.Tee as its main producer.
B-Wave plans to continue expanding its business by leading in artist development, production, and management, aiming to become a driving force in the next generation of K-pop.
