Actor Gong Yoo shared a fun anecdote from the set of his drama 'Show Business'.
On November 14 KST, Gong Yoo posted on Instagram, writing, “I’m really grateful too, but Dong-gu is the uncle and Min-ja is the unnie?” along with a photo.
The photo shows pretzels and other snacks seemingly gifted by the Slow and Intense makeup team. A label attached to the snack reads, “For Uncle Dong-gu.”
On the same day, Song Hye Kyo also posted on Instagram, saying, “This is way too cute. How am I supposed to eat this? Thank you,” revealing that the youngest member of the makeup team gifted the treats. Gong Yoo jokingly complained that Song Hye Kyo was called “unnie” while he was labeled “uncle.”
Meanwhile, Gong Yoo and Song Hye Kyo are currently filming the Netflix series 'Show Business' (working title). Set in the brutal, violence-ridden Korean entertainment industry of the 1960s–1980s, the series tells the story of individuals who had nothing but risked everything for a glittering dream of success.
Song Hye Kyo plays Min-ja, a woman whose difficult childhood forged an exceptionally strong inner self, while Gong Yoo plays Dong-gu, her childhood friend who goes through many ups and downs with her and eventually enters the music industry alongside her.
