In the drama, Jang Ki Yong plays Gong Ji Hyuk, a flawless male lead who excels in both work and appearance. In the first episode, Gong Ji Hyuk completes a challenging project in one go, savoring the thrill of victory. Yet, the one thing missing from his life was love.

During a trip to Jeju Island, Gong Ji Hyuk encounters Go Da Rim (played by Ahn Eun Jin), a woman who immediately challenges him. In their first meeting, she pulls him into a hug from behind, warning him not to “die,” and boldly claims Gong Ji Hyuk as her boyfriend in front of her ex, all to protect her pride. Though their first encounter is already complicated, Gong Ji Hyuk agrees to pretend to be her boyfriend to achieve his own goals.

He then finds himself flustered by her unexpected kiss. Soon after, he catches Da Rim as she turns away and kisses her again, igniting romantic tension for viewers.
