Cha Eun Woo’s agency, Fantagio, finally issued an apology on November 5 regarding a recent ARS (Automatic Response System) voice event linked to the singer and actor. The statement was posted on Cha Eun Woo’s official channels under the title 'Notice Regarding ARS VOICE Contact.'
The agency explained, “We would like to provide information regarding the ARS VOICE content for Cha Eun Woo’s recently released second mini-album on November 4. The number provided in the content is ‘070-8919-0330,’ and it can only be reached through this number. Recently, some users have entered the number incorrectly, causing calls to be directed elsewhere. We ask that you use the correct number when accessing the service.”
Fantagio added, “We sincerely apologize to anyone who may have been inconvenienced by this issue.”
Cha Eun Woo is set to release his solo second album, 'ELSE,' on November 21 at 1 PM across various streaming platforms. Having enlisted in the army band in July, he is currently serving in the military. Fans can look forward to this release, which he recorded prior to enlistment, as a heartfelt gift.
Prior to this, Fantagio held an ARS event on November 4 at 3:30 PM to celebrate the album release.
Fans who called the number shared on Cha Eun Woo’s official social media received pre-recorded messages from him. The event quickly received over 100,000 calls. However, the surge in calls also inadvertently affected people using phone numbers similar to the one provided, causing them to receive unintended calls.
