AI-driven commercial advertising is rapidly gaining momentum. IGAWorks (led by CEO Ma Kuk Seong) announced that its AI creative solution, Fixtype, is now being used to produce real campaigns for major global brands just 10 months after launch—signaling a full-fledged shift toward AI-powered commercial advertising.

Launched in December last year, Fixtype has produced more than 40 brand campaigns and remains the only solution in Korea to have created a fully AI-generated TV commercial that actually aired. Broadcast ads must clear internal brand reviews and media regulations, requiring a level of consistency, tone, and production quality that cannot be achieved through simple generative clips or short composite videos. Meeting commercial standards demands a production system capable of generating uniform quality across every cut—something low-complexity AI tools cannot deliver.

While the market has recently seen a flood of budget-friendly AI video services priced around 500,000 KRW (approx. 339.13 USD), auto-generated videos often fall short when it comes to essential commercial requirements such as accurate product details, scene continuity, and strict adherence to brand guidelines. Fixtype, by contrast, was built from the ground up to meet commercial advertising standards, producing outputs suitable for real media placement.

Fixtype’s impact is also evident in its results. Vitamin brand Haroutine produced roughly 80% of its TV commercials using AI, leading to a more than 900% month-over-month sales increase immediately after airing. Slipper brand Bark used AI-based 3D human visualization to capture scenes impossible with traditional filming, tripling search volume and sales on its own platform. INEOS Grenadier’s fully AI-generated automotive ad garnered 1.73 million views in the UK, with its test-drive event filling up ahead of schedule.

Major domestic and global brands—including Vans, CJ CheilJedang, Koryo Eundan, Dorco, NH Nonghyup Capital, Dong-A Pharmaceutical, Com2uS, and 11st—have already adopted Fixtype for their campaigns. Through the Seoul Center for Creative Economy & Innovation program, Fixtype was also selected as P&G’s AI advertising production partner, expanding its collaboration into global brand campaigns.

“Broadcast commercials require every scene to meet strict verification standards because brands are investing real money into them
,” said Fixtype business head Han Seung Soo. “Fixtype is built on a production model that satisfies commercial criteria, and we’re now expanding that capability to global campaigns as well.
