Dayoung released her first digital single, 'Gonna Love Me, Right?,' on September 9. With the title track "Body," she continues to rise on major Korean music charts.
As of 9 AM on October 10, "Body" ranked No. 10 on Melon’s Top 100 and No. 5 on its Hot 100 (for songs released within 100 days). At the same time, it placed No. 2 on Bugs’ real-time chart and No. 4 on its daily chart from October 9.
Dayoung is also enjoying significant success on TikTok and YouTube. As of October 9, the song entered the Top 50 of TikTok's music chart. It ranked No.9 on YouTube's Daily Shorts Popular Songs chart, and No. 13 on the Weekly Popular Songs chart for the week of September 26 to October 2.
"Body" features Dayoung’s refreshing vocals layered over a punchy beat and addictive hook. Through this track, Dayoung takes on a new challenge—expanding her artistry across vocals, rap, performance, and styling.
On music shows, she showcased her stable live performance and sincerity on stage, built on nine years of experience. On September 23, she won her first music show trophy on SBS FunE’s 'The Show.'

Major foreign media outlets have also taken notice. U.S. business magazine Forbes, British music outlet NME, and U.S. broadcaster FOX 13 Seattle covered her solo debut, while MTV channels in the U.S., U.K., Germany, and Japan highlighted her activities.
