TWICE's Momo purchased a luxury villa in Archiul Village, Guri, Gyeonggi Province, this October, paying the full amount of approximately 4.27 billion KRW (about 3 million USD) in cash.
According to official court registration documents dated October 31, Momo signed a purchase contract on October 23 for a 221 m² (exclusive area) unit in the high‑end Arcadia Signature complex in Acheon‑dong, Guri, for 4.27 billion KRW (about 3 million USD). The full payment was completed on the same day, and the ownership transfer registration was finalised. No mortgage was registered on the property, implying the purchase was made entirely in cash.
The Arcadia Signature complex, completed in May 2023, is a premium residential development in Archiul Village. The building spans two basement floors and four above‑ground floors and contains only eight units — six standard units and two penthouses.
Momo’s unit, the “Natural Terrace” type, features three bedrooms, a study, three bathrooms, and a private garden. The residence offers views of both the Han River and Mount Achasan. The complex also includes amenities such as a fitness room and private event spaces for residents.
Situated about a 15–20 minute drive from Seoul’s Gangnam, Gangdong, Gwangjin, and Songpa districts, the development benefits from its proximity to major hospitals, department stores, the Han River park, and abundant green space. Furthermore, this is the first development in Archiul Village to offer its own private access road, allowing vehicle entry and exit without exposure to adjacent public roads, and it operates a 24‑hour security system. Because of these features, it is particularly popular among celebrities seeking privacy.
Actress Han So Hee previously purchased a 203 m² duplex penthouse in Arcadia Signature in August 2023 for 5.24 billion KRW (about 3.64 million USD), using around 1 billion KRW (about 695,000 USD) in bank financing. Actress‑singer Nana acquired a 221 m² unit in March this year for approximately 4.2 billion KRW (about 2.92 million USD), partly financed via a loan of around 2.7 billion KRW (about 1.88 million USD).
Archiul Village has earned the nickname “Artists’ Village,” having been home to novelist Park Wan Seo, painter Lee Seong Ja, and printmaker Choi Ji Sook. The area’s transformation began after the construction of a four‑lane national road linking Guri with Seoul’s Gwangjang‑dong and the lifting of a greenbelt in 2006, which enabled detached houses and luxury villas to emerge. While the neighbourhood offers quiet, semi‑rural living, it retains near‑Seoul access and has attracted many well‑known individuals.
