On October 3 KST, SM Entertainment announced via 'KWANGYA 119' that it has filed over 200 new criminal complaints against malicious online activity targeting its artists.

'KWANGYA 119' is the official SM Entertainment platform where fans can report malicious online activity directly to the company. Gathering evidence reported by fans as well as other evidence gathered through its own monitoring system, SM Entertainment has consistently pursued legal action against activities ranging from the spread of false rumors to defamation, sexual harassment, deepfake, and insults committed against artists.

SM Entertainment maintains, "Any activity which inflicts physical and mental damages on the artists may be classified as illegal and subject to civil and criminal punishment. Please take caution if you do not wish to be embroiled in unfavorable situations."

SM Entertainment is home to K-Pop artists including BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, SHINee, EXO, Red Velvet, NCT, WayV, aespa, RIIZE, and more.
