Julien Quintart will marry a non-celebrity Korean woman, with Kim Sook hosting the ceremony.
Quintart (38), the Belgian-born entertainer who gained popularity through JTBC's 'Non-Summit' (also known as 'Abnormal Summit'), is set to tie the knot with a Korean woman 5 years his junior on October 11. The wedding will be held privately at Some Sevit in Seoul and co-hosted by Daniel Lindemann, the former German panelist from 'Non-Summit'. Singer Greg Priester will also perform the congratulatory song.
According to industry insiders, Kim Sook and Julien became close through various variety programs, and Kim Sook warmly accepted his request to host the ceremony. Their long-standing friendship, both on and off screen, is expected to make the event even more special.
Julien’s agency, Wave Entertainment, shared, "Julien will hold his wedding in October with his non-celebrity Korean girlfriend." The couple met through a mutual acquaintance and have been together for over three and a half years. After a long and steady relationship, they are finally celebrating their union with warm congratulations from those around them.
Earlier in January, Julien personally revealed his marriage news on the tvN STORY program 'Parents in Korea'. During the broadcast, he shared a glimpse of his newlywed home and expressed affection for his fiancée, saying, "We have similar tastes and both love music. She’s also very kind to my family."
On the show, Julien appeared with his trademark bright smile, saying he felt "excited for a new beginning." His sincerity and warmth earned him heartfelt support from fans.
Meanwhile, Julien first rose to fame in 2014 through JTBC's 'Non-Summit' and has since appeared in various entertainment programs such as JTBC's 'Special Reporter 25hr' and 'Parents in Korea'.
