In an unexpected turn of events, Park Bom has reportedly filed a lawsuit against Yang Hyun Suk, the executive producer of YG Entertainment, leaving both the public and her own agency stunned.
On October 22, a representative from D-Nation Entertainment, Park Bom's current agency, stated, "Park Bom is beyond our control as well. We are currently looking into the details of her lawsuit against Yang Hyun Suk."
Earlier that same day, Park Bom took to her Instagram to announce that she had filed a formal complaint against Yang Hyun Suk. In her post, she wrote, "To the people of Korea, please investigate what YG Entertainment did to Park Bom exactly as it is," alongside a photo of her legal filing.
According to the document, Park Bom accused Yang Hyun Suk of fraud and embezzlement, claiming he had failed to pay her due profits. The complaint listed an astronomical figure - "4272e trillion hundred million KRW (approximately 4.5 quadrillion USD)" - as the alleged damages, though the figure itself has sparked confusion and disbelief among fans.
