Kim Jong Kook expressed his frustration and denied claims that he took down his honeymoon vlog to hide his wife's silhouette, which had appeared in the video.
On October 16, Kim Jong Kook stated on his YouTube channel, "I experienced absurd articles starting to pop up, claiming I took down the previous video with the intention of hiding a black silhouette that was barely recognizable in the footage, because simply posting a short written notice about the reason for removal wasn't enough, and we were discussing how to properly announce it. I watched as this illogical story spread as if it were true."
He continued, "Sometimes in life, unexpected and unfair things happen that completely mess things up. I'm upset and distressed by so many distorted stories related to the wedding as well, but I consider that to be my fault for providing the basis for them. I will just take the criticism and continue to live diligently and sincerely, looking only forward, as I always have."
He added, "You've been watching me for a long time, and I'm not that insane of a person. I hope you all finish your day happily, and I wish strength to all those enduring difficult lives."
Kim Jong Kook had uploaded an edited video taken during his honeymoon on October 9.
The brief appearance of a female silhouette, presumed to be Kim Jong Kook's wife, became a topic of discussion, and the video was taken down and made unavailable the next day.
Some speculated that Kim Jong Kook, who held his wedding strictly private and hasn't released any information about his wife, deleted the video because he accidentally made a mistake by revealing his wife's image.
Meanwhile, Kim Jong Kook held a private wedding with a non-celebrity woman in Seoul on the 5th of last month.
