Singer and actress IU is spreading warmth this Chuseok.
A staff member from MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama '21st Century Grand Prince’s Wife' posted on an online community, saying, “Senior IU gave 500,000 KRW (about 375 USD) gift certificates to all the staff.”
The shared photos show the gift certificates IU gave to all the drama staff ahead of the holiday.
Previously, IU made headlines by gifting AirPods Max to all the staff of the Netflix original drama 'When Life Gives You Tangerines'. After her world tour last year, she also surprised the staff by upgrading all their return tickets to business class for a comfortable trip back to Korea.
'21st Century Grand Prince’s Wife' tells a romance story set in a 21st-century constitutional monarchy South Korea, about Seong Hee Joo, a woman born into a chaebol family but with a commoner status, and Lee An, a prince who cannot have anything despite his royal blood.
IU and Byeon Woo Seok star in the drama, which has attracted much attention.
