According to Incheon Bupyeong Police on October 10 KST, a woman was found deceased in her home earlier this month on October 5 at around 8:30 AM KST. She was initially discovered by an acquaintance, who then called the police.
The woman, 'A', was the girlfriend who reported comedian Lee Jin Ho to the police for drinking and driving late last month in the early hours of September 24 KST. Sources say that 'A' felt emotionally burdened over her involvement in the reporting of Lee Jin Ho in this scandal.
The Incheon Bupyeong Police commented regarding 'A's case, "There are currently no suspicions of criminal activity involved. Per the wishes of the family, we cannot disclose additional details at this time."
Meanwhile, Lee Jin Ho is currently under police investigation for suspicions of illegal gambling. The comedian himself personally confessed on SNS last year, "I got involved in illegal online gambling, and now I'm in unbearable debt. I owe a lot of money to those around me."
Additionally, after admitting to his driving under the influence allegations last month, Lee Jin Ho relayed through his agency, "Lee Jin Ho firmly believes that this incident was his own fault, and he is deeply reflecting on his mistake. The company also feels responsible, and therefore, we will ensure that Lee Jin Ho may participate in the investigation process with integrity."
