EXO's Baekhyun graces the Philippine stage with his 'Reverie' show: "Just like how much you've invested your time in me, I'll make sure you'll be happy"

On October 18, EXO member and solo artist Baekhyun returned to the Philippine stage for the second time as part of his 'Reverie' world tour.

Decked in a princely, all-black ensemble, Baekhyun immediately captured the audience, kicking off the show with a charismatic opening set that included "Young," "Ghost," and "Pineapple Slice."

"It's been a long time since I performed in front of Eris (EXO's fans)," Baekhyun told the crowd, recalling his previous fan meeting in Manila last February for 'Bench.' "Just as much as you've invested your time in me, I'll make sure you will be happy."

The 140-minute show featured an extensive setlist, including fan favorites such as "Bambi," "UN Village," "Betcha," and "Candy." He also showcased his latest work from the album 'Essence of Reverie,' performing the title track "Elevator" alongside B-sides "Chocolate," "Love Comes Back," "Lemonade," "Black Dreams," and "No Problem."

For the encore, Baekhyun treated fans to a display of his heavenly vocals with performances of "Late Night Calls," "Cry For Love," "Paranoia," and "Amusement Park."

True to the meaning of the word "Reverie," Baekhyun successfully transported the audience into another dimension—the "borderline of ideal world and real world."

As the show neared its end, Baekhyun delivered this message to his fans: "Even though it's been such a long time since I last met my Eris, it feels like it was just yesterday. The reason is because of our love. I can hear your loud voices singing along with me, and I can see your beautiful eyes looking at me. Thank you so much for your time and for being with me tonight for this precious moment. I'll try my best to come back as soon as possible."

He added, "Has your stress been relieved? Because you all enjoyed it so passionately, this concert ended in success. The next time I return to the Philippines, I hope you can all come back as well. Until then, please stay healthy. The next time I come, I hope we can have more concert days. Thank you so much for having fun with me. You did a great job tonight. Let's meet again with a smile on our faces."
