Dingo Music apologized after an opening video at the ‘Killing Voice’ concert on Oct. 18 mistakenly displayed an image including a former member of Highlight. The company acknowledged the error as a review failure and accepted responsibility.
Fan reaction has been swift. Online, many questioned how ticketing and promotion could run for over a month while the opening video was reportedly produced on the same day. Critics also noted that older assets were chosen despite ample up-to-date materials, resulting in a frame that omitted leader Doojoon and included a departed member—cited as the core issue. Fans are asking whether rehearsals and stage-by-stage checks actually occurred, and are calling for separate apologies to the members, the agency, and fans, along with a concrete plan for remedies.
Dingo Music said it will strengthen asset verification and approval steps during production to prevent a recurrence. Fans, however, are urging the company to present specific timelines, execution measures, and a clear assignment of accountability.
