On October 4th (local time), 'Florence Knockin' on You' won three awards—including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Screenplay—at the 2025 Global Stage Hollywood Film Festival held at TCL Chinese 6 Theatre in Los Angeles, USA.
Directed by Lee Chang Yeol, the film is set against the scenic backdrop of Florence, Italy. It follows Seok In, a middle-aged man reflecting on his life and realizing the meaning of what he has lost. The iconic cupola of Florence Cathedral serves as a central symbol to explore the essence of human existence and happiness.

Kim Min Jong plays the lead role of Seok In, delivering a deeply introspective performance. Known for balancing his career in drama and music, this film marks his return to the big screen after nearly 20 years, earning praise for his mature emotional expression.
