The two key figures were seen after the Popular Culture Exchange was officially launched on October 1, with top executives from HYBE, SM Entertainment, and YG Entertainment participating as private-sector members. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced the establishment of the committee, which will be co-chaired by Minister Choi Hwi Young and singer-producer J.Y. Park.

The photos were revealed following the Popular Culture Exchange launch event and quickly went viral online. Many netizens find the photos surreal. It even caught the attention of RM himself, who commented, "Oh My God, is this Photoshop?" on Weverse.
