tvN has released the first poster for its upcoming weekend drama 'Typhoon Family,' starring Lee Junho and Kim Min Ha.
Set against the backdrop of the 1997 IMF crisis, 'Typhoon Family' tells the story of Kang Tae Poong (Lee Junho), a rookie businessman who suddenly finds himself thrust into the role of a trading company president, and follows his journey of growth and resilience. The newly unveiled poster captures Kang Tae Poong, determined not to give up even in the face of crisis, alongside meticulous accounting officer Oh Mi Seon (Kim Min Ha), who keeps the company running smoothly.
Kang Tae Poong transforms from a carefree youth into a president shouldering the survival of his employees, showcasing unwavering determination. Meanwhile, Oh Mi Seon emerges as a reliable colleague, guiding him through the basics of trading and the mindset required of a company executive.
The production team commented, “Please pay attention to the synergy and bond between these two characters as they grow through adversity. The story conveys messages that remain relatable even 30 years later.”
'Typhoon Family' will premiere on Saturday, October 11, at 9:20 PM, following the conclusion of 'Bon Appétit, Your Majesty.'
