On September 17, Xports News reported that artists from KINGKONG by Starship Entertainment recently participated in the filming of the popular web variety show 'The Game Caterers.'
'The Game Caterers,' produced by PD Na Young Seok, is a web-based variety program featuring games, following the format seen in shows like 'New Journey to the West' and 'Earth Arcade.'
This is not the first collaboration between Na Young Seok’s team and Starship Entertainment. In 2022, 31 artists from Starship joined 'The Game Caterers' for a '2 Days & 1 Night' outdoor retreat. At that time, actors Song Seung Hun, Yoo Yeon Seok, Shin Seung Ho, Lee Dong Wook, Lee Kwang Soo, and Chae Soo Bin participated alongside idol groups MONSTA X, WJSN (Cosmic Girls), CRAVITY, and IVE.
Three years later, the second collaboration features dozens of artists, including MONSTA X, WJSN, CRAVITY, IVE, KiiiKiii, and IDID, along with actors Lee Dong Wook and Yoo Yeon Seok. Following the popularity of the first season, expectations are high for the upcoming episode.
Meanwhile, Na Young Seok’s YouTube channel 'The Game Caterers' recently announced a one-month break, teasing upcoming content including 'The Game Caterers' and 'Nattering with Nah.' Previously, a JYP-themed episode was announced. The second Starship episode has already been filmed and will be released after the channel’s rest period.
