Super Junior’s Shindong marked his 20th debut anniversary with a candid appearance on MBC’s 'Radio Star,' where he shared behind-the-scenes stories of group activities as well as personal confessions.
The episode, aired on September 3, was titled “Big Build Project,” featuring Seo Jang Hoon, Shin Ki Ru, Shindong, and Na Sun Wook.
Shindong entertained viewers by recalling moments from his overseas promotions. “Over 20 years, all sorts of things have happened abroad,” he said, adding that even when wearing a mask and sunglasses, fans recognized him by his body shape alone. Known among the members as having the “No. 1 body recognition,” he joked, “People know I’m from Super Junior just by seeing my body from afar,” filling the studio with laughter.
He also revealed behind-the-scenes stories about his unit LSS with Leeteuk and Siwon, and spoke about undergoing surgery during his variety show activities due to health issues.
As a senior idol, Shindong even offered his personal tips for self-management, demonstrating a signature photo pose that makes the face look slimmer — before hilariously pointing out the pose’s biggest flaw.
