
According to Variety on September 24 ET, the K-Pop Hollywood film co-produced by HYBE America and Paramount Pictures has finalized its lead cast.
Veterans from the Korean drama/film industry including Sung Joon, Kang So Ra, and Lee Hyeong Cheol have joined the cast, which will be led by Ji Young Yoo (who voiced Zoey in 'K-Pop Demon Hunters') and singer/song-writer Eric Nam.
The supporting cast also features Ahin of Momoland, Yoo Ji Tae, Tony Revolori, Gia Kim, Renata Vaca, Silia Kapsis, Aliyah Turner, Shana Kim, and Jubi Park.
The film, directed by Benson Lee, tells the story of a Korean-American who decides to compete on a K-Pop girl group audition program, against her family's wishes. Filming is scheduled to begin in South Korea in September, with the projected theatrical release date aimed for February 12, 2027.
