ONEW of K-pop group SHINee is set to captivate listeners across Japan with the release of his second Japanese mini album, 'SAKU', arriving on October 1 at 6 PM JST via various digital music platforms.
The album title 'SAKU' draws inspiration from the Japanese verb “咲く” (saku), which means “to bloom.” Reflecting that theme, the five-track album weaves floral imagery and poetic storytelling into each song, coming together like a radiant bouquet.
The album features the title track “花のように (Like a Flower)”, along with:
- KIMI=HANA
- Lily
- Beautiful Snowdrop
- ’Cause I believe in your love
Each track conveys a unique story through the metaphor of flowers—capturing the delicate emotions of love, growth, and hope.
Ahead of the album’s release, concept photos in three distinct versions were unveiled through ONEW’s official channels. The visuals show ONEW holding various types of flowers, highlighting his versatile charm through soft white, warm brown, and vibrant pink tones. His expressive styling and serene visuals reflect the album’s emotional and floral theme.
ONEW’s 'SAKU' marks another step in his solo journey in Japan, following his successful debut Japanese mini album 'Life Goes On'. With his gentle vocals and heartfelt delivery, he’s expected to once again resonate deeply with fans.
