Actors Lee Byung Hun, Song Kang Ho, and Shin Ha Kyun, the trio from director Park Chan Wook’s acclaimed film 'Joint Security Area (2000),' recently reunited, delighting fans with a nostalgic moment.
On September 23, Lee Byung Hun shared a photo on his social media with the caption, “There’s no stopping the passage of time.” The picture shows the three actors sitting side by side, smiling warmly at the camera.
Along with the photo, Lee also posted a still cut from 'Joint Security Area,' highlighting the youthful faces of the three stars from 25 years ago. The film, which told a powerful story set in the Korean Demilitarized Zone, remains a landmark in Korean cinema and a defining moment in their careers.
Even after more than 15 years, the actors continue to lead the Korean film industry with active and celebrated careers, making their reunion especially moving for fans.
It appears that Shin Ha Kyun and Song Kang Ho gathered to show their support for Lee Byun Hun’s upcoming film No Other Choice, directed by Park Chan Wook.
Set to premiere on September 24, 'No Other Choice' follows the story of Man Su (Lee Byung Hun), an office worker who suddenly loses his job despite living what he thought was a fulfilled life. Determined to protect his wife, two children, and the home he worked so hard to secure, Man Su wages his own battle for reemployment, portraying the struggles of ordinary people with raw intensity.
