Seoul Fashion Week for the Spring/Summer 2026 season has concluded, leaving a powerful impression with its vibrant energy, innovative designs, and a renewed focus on what makes Korean fashion unique. Held from September 1st to September 7th at the iconic Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) and other key locations in Seoul, the event showcased a dynamic mix of established veterans and exciting new talent, with K-pop's brightest stars turning the front rows and even the runways into a major spectacle.
This season marked a significant return to a full-scale, in-person event, and the idol presence was stronger than ever. The week kicked off with IVE's Gaeul and Tomorrow X Together's Hueningkai drawing huge crowds at the opening Andersson Bell show, which was uniquely staged along the historic stone walls of Deoksu Palace.
The synergy between K-pop and K-fashion was a dominant theme. Billlie's Siyoon, Moon Sua, and Haram were spotted looking chic at the Kwak Hyun Joo Collection, marking the group's third consecutive year attending the shows. PENTAGON's Wooseok also made a stylish appearance at the Phenomenon Seeper photo wall, representing the strong connection between male idols and contemporary streetwear.

In a move that blurred the lines between musician and model, rookie girl group Ifeye saw members Kasia and Sasha make their official runway debut, walking for the minimalist brand RE RHEE. Their confident and professional walks were praised by attendees and proved the multi-talented nature of today's idols.

On the main runway, a wave of "new-age minimalism" was evident, with designers like Andersson Bell and Low Classic presenting clean, sophisticated silhouettes. In contrast, a spirit of playful maximalism also captured attention. Designer Kathleen Kye of KYE delivered a collection bursting with bold colors and graphic prints, an aesthetic perfectly suited for the vibrant world of K-pop.
Beyond the runway, sustainability and craftsmanship were key conversations. As reported by major outlets like Vogue and Fashion Times, the seamless integration of K-pop stars not only amplified the event's global reach but also highlighted the trends and brands that are set to dominate the upcoming season. From front-row appearances to surprise runway walks, the idols at Seoul Fashion Week S/S 2026 solidified the event's status as a cornerstone of global Hallyu culture.
