With their earworm of a single “EX” already carving out space as a pop-ready anthem, P1Harmony’s latest release of the same name shows the group’s readiness to globalize their music. Aside from “EX,” the record opens on a high note with “Dancing Queen,” a track that wears its pop-rock influences proudly. Driven by buoyant guitars and the group’s commanding vocals, it recalls the stadium-filling energy of boy band classics while still feeling fresh and distinctly P1Harmony. It’s upbeat, easy to love, and immediately sets the tone for the project as a whole. Keeho, in particular, has a voice reminiscent of One Direction’s Zayn Malik.

The project closes on a twist with “EX (Spanish Ver.),” reimagining their lead single in a new language. It also marks the group’s first track recorded in Spanish, following their Latin-inspired experiments, such as ‘SAD SONG,’ and cover performances shared with fans.
