On September 27, PURPLE KISS’s agency RBW announced that member Chaein had suffered an injury and would not be able to participate in any activities for the next week, and possibly longer. They issued a statement on their official fan platform:
“Hello. This is RBW.
We would like to provide an update on the health status and future activities of PURPLE KISS member Chaein.
This morning, Chaein experienced neck pain when moving. She underwent a thorough examination and treatment at the hospital, where she was diagnosed with early stage cervical disc herniation.
While Chaein is strongly committed to participating fully in PURPLE KISS’s activities, her medical team advised against strenuous activity for at least one week. Therefore, she will not be participating in the KFN Consolation Train event scheduled for September 27.
Furthermore, after a thorough discussion taking into account both Chaein’s wishes and her medical team’s advice, Chaein will participate cautiously in the final ‘OUR NOW’ fan sign event on September 28. We will continue to closely monitor Chaein’s condition throughout.
We deeply apologize to PLORYs for any inconvenience this sudden news may have caused.
We appreciate fans’ unwavering love and support for PURPLE KISS, and we will do our best to ensure Chaein’s speedy recovery.
Thank you.”
Meanwhile, PURPLE KISS will be embarking on their final North America tour ‘A Violet to Remember’ starting on October 5.
