Park Hyung Sik’s agency has denied recent reports claiming that the actor received ₩400 million (approx. $290,000 USD) per episode for his role in the KBS 2TV drama 'TWELVE'.
On September 17 KST, LEB Entertainment issued an official statement:
“The reports regarding actor Park Hyung Sik’s appearance fees—ranging from ‘Dr. Slump’ to the current ‘TWELVE’—are not based on facts. As misinformation continues to circulate as if it were confirmed, we are releasing this official statement.”
They added, “Park Hyung Sik continues to approach every project with sincerity. We would appreciate your warm support for his future endeavors as well.”
Previously, on September 16, reports surfaced claiming that Park Hyung Sik received ₩400 million per episode—totaling ₩3.2 billion (approx. $2.3 million USD) for eight episodes—for playing the character Oh-gwi in 'TWELVE', leading to controversy over actor salaries.
