
Actor Park Bo Gum has been appointed as an honorary ambassador of Incheon International Airport, the airport operator announced.
On September 16, the Incheon International Airport Corporation (IIAC) stated, “Park Bo Gum has become the new face representing Incheon Airport and will actively participate as an honorary ambassador.”
Park attended the appointment ceremony held on September 15 at the IIAC auditorium, where President Lee Hak Jae presented him with the official certificate of appointment.
President Lee praised Park, saying, “It is an honor to appoint Park Bo Gum, a celebrity admired for his acting skills, star quality, and character, as our ambassador.” He added, “We expect him to play a significant role in enhancing Incheon Airport’s domestic and international brand value and in strengthening communication with the public.”
As honorary ambassador, Park will participate in various activities over the next three years to promote Incheon Airport across the globe. The airport corporation also plans to highlight its smart services, convenience facilities, and ongoing major innovation projects.
Previously, the role of honorary ambassador has been held by prominent figures including soprano Sumi Jo, former figure skating champion Kim Yuna, former volleyball player Kim Yeong Koung, and K-pop group aespa.
