The eliminated 'C Group' contestants of Mnet's survival program 'Boys II Planet' will get another chance at debut through a new survival project, 'The Final Race'.
According to insider reports on September 5 KST, Mnet will begin production of the 'Boys II Planet' spin-off survival show 'The Final Race' immediately following the conclusion of 'Boys II Planet', which will wrap up with its final live broadcast on September 25 KST. All 'C Group' contestants who do not make it into the final debuting lineup of 'Boys II Planet' will be given the opportunity to compete on 'The Final Race', which will produce a China-based boy group with the possibility of expanded promotions in Korea and around the globe.
Previously, Kim Shin Young, chief producer of 'Boys II Planet', revealed plans for the franchise to expand its survival program format to other countries throughout Asia.
