Girl group LE SSERAFIM is making bold strides in Japan, backed by growing popularity and high-profile collaborations. As part of a special project celebrating the 20th anniversary of Japan’s largest online fashion platform ZOZOTOWN, the group will release a commemorative track and join the lineup for the ZOZOFES music festival.
On September 26 at 1 p.m. JST, LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae) will unveil the NOISE (Contains a Sample of "Yoru ni Kakeru") in collaboration with popular Japanese unit YOASOBI. The track was produced by Tokyo Coffee Break, a producer duo that reinterpreted YOASOBI’s hit song Yoru ni Kakeru (Running at Night) by adding new lyrics and arrangements in a dreamy city pop and Y2K style. The combination of LE SSERAFIM’s unique vocals and the nostalgic atmosphere of the remix is expected to create an enchanting listening experience.
Following the track release, LE SSERAFIM will also perform at ZOZOFES, a fashion and music fusion festival hosted by ZOZOTOWN. The event will take place on October 13 at K-Arena Yokohama, and LE SSERAFIM is notably the only K-pop group invited to perform at the celebration.
Their popularity in Japan is backed by solid achievements. In March, their Korean mini album HOT earned Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ), making them the only 4th-generation K-pop girl group to achieve four consecutive Korean album shipments exceeding 100,000 units. Their fourth Japanese single, DIFFERENT, released in June, also surpassed 100,000 units in just one week.
Their ongoing world tour further cements their international influence. Over 110,000 fans attended their Japan concerts, and in November, they will headline an encore concert at Tokyo Dome for the first time—an achievement regarded as a milestone for overseas artists.
LE SSERAFIM, under HYBE’s SOURCE MUSIC label, is currently concluding the North American leg of their '2025 LE SSERAFIM TOUR ‘EASY CRAZY HOT’ IN NORTH AMERICA'. They are set to wrap up the tour with a final performance in Mexico City on September 24, having sold out shows in seven U.S. cities, proving their powerful global ticketing appeal.
