Actress Kim Yoo Jung attracted attention after sharing a friendly snapshot with fellow actor Kim Do Hoon just days after rumors about the two circulated online.
On September 23, Kim posted several photos on her social media with the caption “Dear X, Busan, BIFF.” The images showed her enjoying the seaside scenery in Busan and attending the 'Busan International Film Festival' (BIFF) alongside the cast of TVING’s upcoming series 'Dear X.' Among them was a warm two-shot with Kim Do Hoon that quickly became a hot topic.
Speculation about a possible romance between the two had surfaced earlier through online communities and social media. Photos taken in Nha Trang, Vietnam raised suspicions of a so-called “lovestagram.” It was later revealed that the trip was not a private getaway but a group vacation following the completion of filming for 'Dear X.'
On September 20, Kim Yoo Jung’s agency Awesome ENT clarified the situation, stating: “The dating rumors with Kim Do Hoon are not true. The Nha Trang trip was not just the two of them. It was a group trip after wrapping up filming for 'Dear X.'”
The agency added, “After the drama concluded, director Lee Eung Bok, Kim Yoo Jung, Kim Do Hoon, and available staff members all went on the trip together. The photos were taken in a way that made it look like only the two of them, but the rumor is groundless.”
TVING’s 'Dear X' will premiere on November 6. The drama tells the story of Baek A Jin, a woman who wears a mask to escape from hell and climb to the top, and the “X’s” who were mercilessly trampled by her.
