IVE has unveiled a new dance practice video for their latest title track "XOXZ".
On their official YouTube channel, IVE recently released a video titled “IVE ‘XOXZ’ Dance Practice.” The clip immediately drew attention for its dynamic visuals and energetic performance.
Dressed in black and red outfits, the members delivered a hip and kitschy vibe, each of the six members standing out with her own unique charm. Their synchronized movements and vivid facial expressions created the feeling of a live performance.
One of the standout moments featured the members forming an ‘X’ shape with their hands and confidently walking forward, accentuating their long, graceful lines and amplifying the powerful energy of "XOXZ".
In the bridge section, a visually striking formation unfolds with Liz at the center, as the members hold each other’s arms and spread out wide, reinforcing the dreamy atmosphere that aligns with the album’s theme of dreams.
The choreography video showcases IVE’s growing musical spectrum, conceptual performance style, and the passion and diverse charms of the members behind the scenes.
IVE released their fourth mini album ‘IVE SWITCH’ and the title track "XOXZ" on August 1st KST. The track introduces a new made-up expression coined by IVE, meaning “Love you, good night, and see you in your dreams.” With heavy 808 bass, brassy accents, and tight drum beats, the song builds a sense of tension, while the low-tone rap and minimal vocals deliver a dreamy and ethereal vibe. The lyrics were written by Seo Ji Eum and Jang Wonyoung, who also collaborated on the previous title track "ATTITUDE", adding to the track’s depth and completeness.
Since its release, ‘XOXZ’ has topped major Korean charts including Melon HOT100 (within 30 days of release) and VIBE’s rising domestic chart, and remains in the top ranks on Genie, Bugs, FLO, and YouTube Music.
Following the album’s release, IVE has been actively promoting through music shows and a variety of appearances. The group has graced programs such as MBC’s ‘Hangout with Yoo’, KBS2’s ‘Stars’ Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant’, and popular YouTube content like ‘NOPOGY’, ‘Workman’, and 'iammingki', captivating the public with their versatile appeal both individually and as a group.
