
Korean-American artists Audrey Nuna, Rei Ami and Ejae will take the stage as presenters at the '2025 MTV Video Music Awards.'
The trio, who voice the animated K-pop group HUNTR/X in Netflix’s hit film 'K-Pop Demon Hunters,' were officially announced by MTV through social media on September 3.
Audrey Nuna voices Mira, Ejae plays Rumi and Rei Ami brings Zoey to life. Together, they performed several standout tracks from the film including “Golden,” “How It’s Done” and “Takedown.” “Golden” has become a breakout hit, currently holding the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for the third consecutive week.
Ejae shared her excitement in a video message, saying, “We’re all thrilled to be part of this year’s VMAs. Can’t wait to see you on Sunday.” Their appearance marks a major moment for Korean-American representation in global pop culture.
'K-Pop Demon Hunters,' directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, is an animated action fantasy that follows three K-pop idols who secretly battle supernatural forces. The film has become a worldwide sensation and is now the most-watched movie in Netflix history.
The '2025 VMAs' will be held at UBS Arena in New York and broadcast live on CBS and MTV. Streaming will be available on Paramount+.
