Galaxy Corporation, the agency representing K-pop icon G-Dragon, has released a stern statement regarding legal action against malicious comments.
On September 12, G-Dragon's agency gave an update on combating malicious comments and the spread of false rumors. The agency stated, "We would like to provide an update regarding the legal actions being taken in response to rights infringement caused by groundless false information and malicious posts targeting the Artist (G-Dragon)."
Galaxy Corporation continued, "Through both fan reports and our own continuous monitoring, we have confirmed the ongoing spread of false information, malicious slander, and defamatory posts about the Artist. We have been actively cooperating with the investigative authorities to respond to these matters."
In the latest update, the label revealed that they have partnered with Yulchon LLC, one of the leading law firms in South Korea, to take both civil and criminal complaints against the malicious comments. They stated, "We are taking every measure - including both civil and criminal complaints - against any illegal expressions that allude to the Artist, whether by name, initials, nicknames, or other references. We will continue to respond firmly without leniency or settlement."

Hello, this is Galaxy Corporation.
We sincerely thank you for the interest and affection you show toward our artist, G-DRAGON (hereinafter referred to as 'the Artist').
We would like to provide an update regarding the legal actions being taken in response to rights infringement caused by groundless false information and malicious posts targeting the Artist.
Through both fan reports and our own continuous monitoring, we have confirmed the ongoing spread of false information, malicious slander, and defamatory posts about the Artist. We have been actively cooperating with the investigative authorities to respond to these matters.
We have appointed Yulchon LLC, one of Korea’s top four law firms, and are carefully monitoring online communities and social media to collect related evidence. Reports submitted by fans are also being actively used as crucial grounds for our legal actions.
We are taking every possible measure - including civil and criminal complaints - against any illegal expressions that allude to the Artist, whether by name, initials, nicknames, or other references. We will continue to respond firmly without leniency or settlement.
