Fans and Korean netizens are voicing concern and outrage after learning that Lee Soo Hyuk had reportedly endured 12 hours of a fan meeting in a hot venue.
On September 3, a Taiwanese media outlet reported that Lee Soo Hyuk provided fan service for nearly 12 hours, almost double the scheduled time, at a venue with insufficient air conditioning. With heightening controversy, Lee Soo Hyuk's agency, Saram Entertainment, stated, "We believe that every moment shared by fans and the artist is a special and precious moment. Therefore, we deeply regret the situation that occurred during the fan meeting as a result of unforeseen circumstances. In light of these events, we promise to do our best so that we may proceed toward improvement in the future."
The agency also confirmed that Lee Soo Hyuk has no health issues; however, the backlash did not subside. Despite the latest statement from Saram Entertainment, fans and Korean netizens continued to criticize the long fan meeting held in a poor environment.
