The highly anticipated new K-beauty survival show, ‘Just Makeup,' has unveiled its main trailer and teaser poster.
Premiering on October 3 on Coupang Play, the show is a grand-scale makeup competition where top Korean makeup artists from around the world compete, each showcasing their unique styles.
The trailer highlights the participants’ determination, with one declaring, “I will win with makeup alone.” It also offers a glimpse of the 60 artists demonstrating their skills and creativity. Spectacular stages set the scene for the competition, featuring a lineup that spans generations, from Korea’s first-generation makeup artists to internationally active professionals and emerging beauty creators driving the latest K-beauty trends.
As the show gears up for its record-breaking makeup battles, attention is also drawn to the judging panel. K-beauty pioneer Jung Saem Mool appears, creating an emotional moment. During the judging process, the renowned artist is seen shedding tears, prompting MC Lee Hyori to exclaim in astonishment, “Can makeup really move people to tears like this?”
The teaser poster further amplifies the excitement, showcasing dozens of makeup stations arranged in an impressive line. It hints at the intense competition that will unfold at each station and teases the birth of a single legendary artist. The poster and trailer together build anticipation for the show’s grand scale and high stakes.
‘Just Makeup’ premieres on October 3 at 8 PM and will be available for free to all Coupang members, including both Wow members and general subscribers.
