
Actress Kim Ok Bin is getting married.
On October 1st KST, her agency Ghost Studio announced: “Kim Ok Bin will tie the knot with her beloved partner on November 16th.”
The statement continued, “The groom-to-be is a non-celebrity, and the wedding will be held privately with only family and close acquaintances. As she embarks on this new chapter in life, we kindly ask for warm blessings for Kim Ok Bin’s future. She will continue to show her best as an actress.”
Alongside the announcement, the agency also released wedding photos of Kim, who stunned in a pure white dress.
Kim Ok Bin began her acting career in 2005 with the film ‘Voice (Whispering Corridors 4)’, which earned her a nomination for Best New Actress at the Blue Dragon Film Awards. In 2006, she rose as a rising star through leading roles in the dramas ‘Hello, God!’ and ‘Over the Rainbow.’
Her breakthrough came in 2009 with director Park Chan Wook’s film ‘Thirst’, for which she won Best Actress at the Sitges Film Festival in Spain and walked the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival. She has since appeared in dramas such as ‘Sword and Flower,’ ‘Yeon Woo’s Street,’ ‘Arthdal Chronicles,’ and ‘Love to Hate You,’ as well as films including ‘The Front Line,’ ‘Minority Opinion,’ ‘The Villainess,’ and ‘A Confession.’
