Actress Son Ye Jin, star of Park Chan Wook’s ‘No Other Choice’, took to social media to share photos in Venice.
As the film continues to receive much critical acclaim following its screening at the ‘Venice International Film Festival’, buzz around the film and the actors has risen. After expressing much excitement about making her first appearance at the esteemed festival, Son Ye Jin greeted the press and audience in two gorgeous gowns, elevated by her beauty.
Out of the limelight, the actress opts for a casual flowy lavender dress while sightseeing, and enjoys some downtime with the director and her fellow castmates, radiating with joy.
An adaptation of Donald E. Westlake’s novel ‘The Ax’, the psychological thriller portrays the protagonist Mansu (played by Lee Byung Hun) and his desperate struggle for re-employment. Combining elements of tension and black comedy, the ensemble cast includes Lee Byung Hun, Son Ye Jin, Park Hee Soon, Yeom Hye Ran, and Lee Sung Min.
Due to the consistent raving reviews, still maintaining a 100% on ‘Rotten Tomatoes’ based on critical reviews, the film is anticipated to be a strong contender for the coveted ‘Golden Lion’ at the ‘Venice International Film Festival’.
‘No Other Choice’ is slated for release in local theaters on September 24 (KST).
