On August 31, 2025, Chae Eun Jung, member of first-generation girl group Cleo, tied the knot with her non-celebrity husband.
The two first got acquainted through a blind date, and got together after several interactions, including when her husband was involved with the filming of the music video for her first solo song.
When Eun Jung first revealed about her marriage, she expressed that like two halves who have been searching for each other from afar for a long time and have finally found each other, they have promised to become one. She continues with her endless affection for her partner, stating how grateful she is for his patience and accommodation when dealing with someone as impatient as she is.
Born in 1982, Chae Eun Jung debuted as the main vocalist and main dancer of the group Cleo in 1999, and subsequently became the face of the group. After leaving Cleo in 2004, she continued her singing career as a solo singer. In 2023, Eun Jung announced Cleo’s comeback after 17 years, joined by two new members Dini and Dokyung.
