Singer and actress Son Dam Bi has just opened up about her post-birth transformation process.
On April 11, Son Dam Bi gave birth to a healthy baby girl, naming her Hae I. Shortly afterwards, the new mother got to work on her post-birth body transformation. She recently revealed the details of her process and the reasons why she felt compelled to lose weight and get facial work done so quickly, saying, "My skin had become dull and less elastic, and I felt like my face had more lines and was sagging a bit. I guess that's inevitable after giving birth... But my job is to be an actress, so I need to manage my appearance. I tried one facial lifting procedure, but I couldn't stand the pain. But then I found out about a less painful procedure, so I went to get a consultation."
Son Dam Bi headed to the dermatologist, where she soon received a complete facial lift procedure. She says even the dermatologist was surprised by her slender figure so soon after giving birth, telling her, "It's hard to believe it's only been three months since you gave birth."
Son Dam Bi stated, "I heard it's important to be diligent with your post-partum care, whether it's exercising or something else. They say there's a 'golden time'... So I tried to be diligent about it."
Two weeks after receiving her facial lift, Son Dam Bi shared that she was greatly satisfied with the results. She explained: "My face, which had been sagging before, seems to have become more defined. Even my sensitive skin is no longer dry and dull. People around me have been telling me I look different." She emphasized the significant benefits of the face lift and improvements in skin elasticity she noticed.
Meanwhile, Son Dam Bi married former speed skater Lee Kyu Hyuk in 2022. She successfully conceived through IVF and gave birth to her daughter in April. She soon gained attention for losing 13kg just three months after giving birth.
