AB6IX member Jeon Woong showcased his witty personality and candid humor during a recent radio appearance, earning praise as a rising “talk machine.”
On August 27th KST, Jeon Woong and Lee Daehwi guested on MBC FM4U’s ‘Kim Shinyoung’s Noon Song of Hope’, promoting their 10th EP album, ‘THE FUTURE IS OURS : UP SIDE DOWN’.
One listener sent in a message saying, “Woong-oppa has become so talkative lately—he’s a true talk machine!” to which Jeon Woong responded with a laugh, “I’m not sure about that, but I’ll try my best.”
Lee Daehwi added in agreement, “As the years go by, you naturally become more comfortable talking. We were so nervous in our debut days.”
Jeon Woong then revealed a behind-the-scenes moment from his rookie days:
“Back then, they told me not to laugh too loudly or talk too much. I was literally called in by the manager who said, ‘You’re different from the others because you’re a new face.’ But now, I say whatever I want.”
Unlike the other members of AB6IX, Jeon Woong did not appear on Mnet’s ‘Produce 101 Season 2’, which introduced most of the group to the public.
On this, he joked:
“It’s not that I had charisma or anything, but since the other members were already familiar to fans, they tried to brand me as this mysterious type. Honestly, I think they misjudged my vibe.”
With his growing confidence and honest charm, Jeon Woong continues to win over both listeners and fans, one broadcast at a time.
