KickFlip proved themselves as the “next-generation stage masters” at the 2025 TIMA (TMELive International Music Awards), lighting up the arena with their dynamic presence.
Held on August 23rd (local time) at Galaxy Arena in Macau, the 2025 TIMA is a large-scale international music awards show hosted by Tencent Music Entertainment Group, a leading force in the Chinese music industry. The inclusion of rookie group KickFlip, just seven months after debut, in the lineup drew significant attention.
Members Gyehun, Amaru, Donghwa, Juwang, Minjae, Keiju, and Donghyun delivered a powerful and synchronized performance that electrified the crowd. The stage opened with a solo dance by Donghwa, immediately raising the energy level. With intense choreography and stable live vocals, the group lived up to their rising reputation.
The audience responded with enthusiastic chants of “KickFlip!” and followed along with the official fan chants. Loud cheers erupted during performances of their addictive debut B-side "Umm Great" and the title track "FREEZE" from their second mini album.
After the performance, the group expressed their gratitude:
“We’ll never forget the support and love you showed us today. Thanks to you, we were able to enjoy every moment on stage. We promise to return with even better performances, and we hope to meet you all again soon.”
KickFlip has been gaining international recognition throughout the summer. In addition to 2025 TIMA, they have appeared at Lollapalooza Chicago and SUMMER SONIC 2025 in Japan, further solidifying their global presence. On August 21st, they were named ‘K World Dream Super Rookie of the Year’ at the 2025 K WORLD DREAM AWARDS, held at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul.
