EXO's Kai revealed the first question he was asked when he enlisted for the mandatory military service.
In the latest episode of 'Jeongwaja' on August 28, Kai re-enlisted in the military, and IVE's Jang Won Young joined him in a "Companion enlistment." During the episode, Jang Won Young revealed she had volunteered to enlist with Kai and joined him on this day to experience the Seokyeong University Military Science Department.
From the start, the two were given uniforms to join the department for physical training. After changing into the uniform, Kai shared, "You know, the first time I entered the army, do you know the first thing I heard?" Curious Jang Won Young asked, "What is it?" to which Kai replied, "'Do you like IVE?' The instructor asked, (life's greatest dilemma) 'is it Jang Won Young or An Yu Jin?'"
Immediately after hearing the question, Jang Won Young replied, "Did you answer?" Being put on the spot, Kai looked at the production team and shared, "Should I say the truth? Do I tell the truth or what?" Jang Won Young advised playfully, "Make it up! You'd better answer well," putting pressure on Kai.
Kai, without hesitation, answered, "Then, I said... 'I like Jang Won Young," but then immediately whispered at the camera, "Actually, at the time I said I like aespa," making everyone laugh.
Meanwhile, Jang Won Young and Kai diligently completed the rigorous physical training. By the end of the drill, Jang Won Young had lost her high-energy, positive "Lucky Vicky" spirit and joked, "Can you even catch a taxi here?" making Kai burst into laughter.
