Scarlett Johansson shared her excitement about being back in South Korea after eight years, as she visited Seoul to promote her upcoming film, 'Jurassic World: Rebirth.'
Speaking at a press conference held on July 1 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Jongno, Seoul, the actress expressed her enthusiasm for her return. “I’m so thrilled to be in Korea,” Johansson said. “I only wish I had more time to enjoy everything.”
'Jurassic World: Rebirth,' opening in theaters on July 2, follows Dr. Zora and Dr. Henry as they journey to one of the world’s most dangerous islands, the location of a long-hidden research lab from the original 'Jurassic Park.' There, they uncover shocking truths while fighting to survive amid prehistoric threats. The film is directed by Gareth Edwards, acclaimed for 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' and 'The Creator,' and brings a fresh vision to the iconic franchise.
This marks Johansson’s first visit to Korea since 2017, when she came for the release of 'Ghost in the Shell.' Reflecting on her time in Seoul, she shared, “I went to Myeongdong this morning and bought a bunch of skincare and makeup products. I also tried seven different kinds of kimchi. I’m really looking forward to meeting the fans tonight. I always feel so warmly welcomed here, and I’m truly grateful.”
