Netizens are reacting to IVE's Wonyoung being compared to i-dle's (formerly known as (G)I-DLE) ex-member Soojin.
On an online forum, users have been discussing a series of press photos of Wonyoung taken at the airport on July 19 KST. One netizen commented that these particular images reminded them of Soojin, pointing out similarities in facial features such as her eye shape, facial moles, round face, and slightly fuller lips.
Some attributed the resemblance to the fact that Wonyoung’s eyes and cheeks appeared noticeably puffy that day, possibly due to not wearing her usual contact lenses. Those who initially doubted the comparison admitted they were "shocked how similar they actually looked."
Others noted that she seems to have "slightly gained weight," which may have contributed to the change in appearance. Several also commented that she may have "gotten too much lip filler," causing a stark contrast to her previous look.
Additional comparisons were made to Lee Yu Bi and Go Hyun Jung, as some netizens felt Wonyoung shared similarities with them as well.
At the same time, many expressed admiration, saying it’s "amazing" that Wonyoung "can look this good even on her worst days."
