The '4th Blue Dragon Series Awards' took place on July 18 at Paradise City in Incheon and was broadcast live on KBS 2TV.
On this day, Im Si Wan opened the ceremony with a celebratory performance, drawing attention from the start. After performing a medley of hit songs, he paused briefly, and to everyone’s surprise, a video of Lee Byung Hun breakdancing in the past was shown.
Even Lee Byung Hun, who was present at the ceremony, was visibly shocked. Im Si Wan then mimicked Lee Byung Hun’s dance moves from the video, receiving cheers from the audience.

MC Jun Hyun Moo commented, “That was a legendary opening,” and added, “It was impressive to see how nervous Lee Byung Hun looked, worried that Im Si Wan might ask him to dance.”
Meanwhile, in the drama category, 'When Life Gives You Tangerines' was nominated in six categories, including Best Drama, Best Actor and Actress, Best Supporting Actor and Actress, and Best New Actor. 'The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call' received nominations in five categories, including Best Drama, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, and Best New Actor and Actress. In the variety category, 'SNL Korea' Seasons 6 & 7 were nominated for Male and Female Entertainer Awards and Male and Female Rookie Entertainer Awards.
