On the first episode of the new ENA talk show 'Salon de Dol', aired on July 25 KST, SHINee's Key, Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon, and BTOB's Changsub held a debate about what constituted "cheating" between men and women.
The choices provided by the producers included a) interest in another person, b) emotional attraction toward another person, and c) sexual activity.

First, Hyoyeon chose b) emotional attraction toward another person. She said, "If it's b, it means that they could be exchanging text messages with the other person. That is going behind your back. If they start to hide things from you, then it's cheating."
However, both Key and Changsub chose c) sexual activity. Key explained his decision with an example, remarking, "Even if I have a girlfriend, I might still see feel attracted to another person. That is not something that you can control. But humans are different from animals because they have social obligations. So as a human, I need to suppress those feelings. Otherwise, if you just let it progress to the third stage, then you're no different from an animal."
Changsub agreed and put more simply, "I can let it slide if it happened just on the emotional or mental level. But if there is sexual activity involved, then you can't call that anything else except cheating."
