Fans are wondering whether dating is easier in a co-ed group.

On an online forum, netizens are discussing whether it's a "good idea" for members of co-ed groups to date each other, as sharing the same group might make the relationship feel more "natural" or "convenient." The discussion began after a netizen jokingly asked whether ALLDAY PROJECT's Tarzzan and Bailey were dating, citing their sweet and seemingly affectionate moments together.

The netizen wrote:

"Of course they shouldn't date, and they aren't~~ it's just fan delusion. If they're going to date, please do it after disbanding... It’s kind of wild that they filmed Bailey’s solo MV scene on a freezing night and he went with her. They're always seated next to each other, even in the waiting room they’re stuck together lol... Their chemistry is so good—this is just my personal wish."

According to the fan, Tarzzan was seen taking care of Bailey, helping her with Korean, and making sure she stayed warm. Another fan pointed out that he even pulled out a chair for her, adding that they seemed to share similar interests.

On X, the fan wrote:

"Tarzzan really takes care of Bailey a lot. But when you think about it, they have similar interests and matching tastes, and she's a shy two-years-younger girl who's still getting used to Korea and isn't fluent in Korean yet… Honestly, if it were me, I'd want to pull out her chair for her all the time too."

Sharing another fun moment, another fan added that although Tarzzan offered Bailey ramen first in one instance, she hilariously ignored him and started eating kimchi instead—highlighting their usual relaxed, playful, and friendly dynamic between them.

Meanwhile, netizens chimed in, saying that while dating within a co-ed group might seem ideal in theory, it often leads to problems in practice. One netizen recalled a former K-pop co-ed group whose dynamic fell apart after two members began dating and eventually broke up, leading to the group’s disbandment. Such incidents were noted with past co-ed groups such as Cool, Triple H, and S#ARP.

Some netizens also commented on Tarzzan’s personality, saying he generally treats people kindly and displays the same kind of warmth toward Youngseo.

Regardless of whether they’re dating, many fans said Tarzzan and Bailey make a good pair. Both are acclaimed dancers, and their chemistry was especially noticeable in a recent YouTube video filmed at Everland

Others said it's simply "fun" to imagine the idea of co-ed members dating and also noted that Youngseo and Woochan "make a good pair" as well.

Reactions include:

"Dating within a co-ed group usually does more harm than good... There was a co-ed group back in the day where a male and female member acted like they had something going on, and the public supported it. But they ended up actually dating, then breaking up, which ruined the group’s dynamic and led to disbandment lol"

"He treats Youngseo the same way. If you only saw that clip, you'd think they’re really dating, but if you watch more videos, it just seems like he’s naturally affectionate."

"Co-ed groups aren't the type to attract 'shipping' fans anyway, so even if members date, fans wouldn’t go crazy. The real issue is if they break up—then the group vibe crashes. That’s why, even though I enjoy male idol shipping content, I don’t like it when members actually date each other. You can always tell who’s dating in a group, and when the atmosphere suddenly shifts, it's because that couple fought or broke up. Then even fans feel awkward."

"But in co-ed groups like this, if they date and break up, one of them is probably leaving the group lol. How can you keep performing with your ex?"

"Honestly, it kind of looks like Tarzzan is one-sidedly crushing on Bailey lol. Bailey doesn’t seem interested at all, and if anything, it seems like Moon Seoyoon is the one who likes Tarzan."

"Right now, it’s like ‘they’d be cute if they dated~’ but if they actually do, people will start saying ‘of course, it’s a co-ed group, what did you expect’ and the whole group ends up suffering."

"Honestly, Tarzzan just seems like the affectionate type. He gets along well with Bailey, and since she's like a little sister he really cares about, he looks after her a lot. But if they were dating, I’d be supportive... they’re both so cute."

"I really love their pairing too lolol. After seeing them go to Everland on their reality show recently, I like them even more."

"Whether they're dating or not, I hope they just stay in this kind of ambiguous state lol. I love seeing them close—if they grew distant or awkward, it would make me sad ㅠㅠ"

"Tarzzan and Bailey just seem to have good chemistry. Bailey's especially lively around Tarzan. Annie, on the other hand, doesn’t seem interested in Tarzzan—if anything, she seems more into Woochan."

"They absolutely shouldn’t date. If they do, it’s only a matter of time before the group falls apart."

"Their chemistry is great lol. Bailey seems like an introvert, but when she went to the amusement park with Tarzzan, their energy really matched. Still, I hope they’re not actually dating—that way we can enjoy this chemistry longer."

"Bailey isn't fluent in Korean yet, so it just seems like he's helping her out."

"He's affectionate with all the younger members and treats Annie more like a friend."

"Back in the day, there were always rumors about who was dating who in co-ed groups, and if two people seemed awkward, people would jump to ‘they broke up’ accusations. I just want to enjoy stanning, not watch someone else's love life unfold."

"Please don’t date within the group. Be professional, keep things separate, and if you want to start something, wait until the contract is over. Also, I used to think Tarzzan and Youngseo were a thing lol."

"Isn’t dating within the group basically a disaster?"

"It's fine if they date secretly. The whole fun of co-ed groups is the fantasy lol. As long as they don’t publicly say ‘we’re dating,’ fans can still enjoy the butterflies and feel like they’re winning."

"Bailey doesn’t speak Korean well and might not be fitting in fully, so it seems like he’s just being extra considerate of her."

"I'm totally into the Youngseo-Woochan pairing."

"Youngseo and Woochan look great together—maybe it's because they’re the same age?"

"If I can’t have them, I’d rather they date each other."

"They really seem like they’re dating... It’s just my wish, though."
