TV personality and actor Dex revealed he recently bought himself a luxury car and gifted a new one to his father.
On July 28, Dex appeared as a guest on the YouTube show “Jjannhyung Shin Dongyup” alongside actress Won Jinah, promoting their ENA Monday-Tuesday drama 'Eye Shopping'.
During the episode, Shin Dongyup asked Dex whether he gives his parents allowance. Dex replied, “Yes. I’ve been driving a used car myself until now.”
When Shin jokingly asked, “A used Rolls Royce?”, Dex laughed and confirmed, “That’s right. It was originally worth ₩1.2 billion (approx. $865,000), but I got it for ₩600 million (approx. $430,000)—talked it down by half.”
He continued, “And I bought my father a brand-new car worth ₩50 million. So while I got a ₩600 million used car, my dad got a brand-new one.”
Dex then sincerely added, “My dad had been driving an old car for a long time, so I got him his first brand-new car,” showing his deep respect and love for his father.
