Musical actors Park Jun Hwi and Woo Jin Young have withdrawn from their ongoing performances following a controversy surrounding their private lives. The two were cast in the musicals 'Bare: A Pop Opera' and 'Nijinsky,' but have since stepped down.
On June 5, Show Play Entertainment, the production company behind the shows, issued an official statement: "Actor Park Jun Hwi, who played the role of Peter, and actress Woo Jin Young, who played the role of Tanya, have decided to leave the productions due to personal circumstances."

The company added, “We sincerely apologize to all the audience members for the inconvenience caused by the cast changes. Those wishing to cancel or receive refunds due to these changes may do so without any cancellation fees.” Actor Kang Byun Hoon will replace Park Jun Hwi, while actress Park Do Yeon will take over for Woo Jin Young.
The controversy erupted in the early hours of June 5, when a photo surfaced on Instagram showing Park Jun Hwi and Woo Jin Young in their underwear, heads bowed. The image, believed to have been uploaded and then deleted from an acquaintance’s Instagram story, quickly went viral.
Adding fuel to the fire, screenshots of wedding invitations and private messages exchanged between the two were also released online. With Park Jun Hwi reportedly engaged to be married, speculation has intensified around the possibility of an extramarital affair. Many netizens suspect that the source of the leaked content may be Park’s fiancée.
Following the scandal, Park Jun Hwi’s Instagram account has been deactivated.
Park Jun Hwi made his musical debut in 2016 with 'Secretly, Greatly,' and has since appeared in numerous productions including 'The Goddess' and 'Fire Sonata.'
